Beyond the initial fixed payment, you can create two additional payment types for creators at any time within a campaign:
Extra payment: a one-time bonus or additional payment (explained in this article).
Commission payment: based on creator-driven sales. See How to check and validate sales commissions.
Here's a helpful video on how to create extra payments and affiliate commission payments:
1. How to create an extra payment
For one creator
Open the Campaign app and click on the creator's profile.
In the side panel, scroll to Payment history.
Click + New payment and select Extra payment.
Enter the amount and currency.
If Upfluence Pay is your campaign's payment method, confirm the Upfluence Pay account to use for this payment. If a default is set on the campaign, it will be pre-selected, you can change it here without affecting the campaign default.
Click Authorize to finalize.
For multiple creators
Select the creators you want to pay, or click Select all.
Click Bulk actions > Create payments > Extra payment.
Enter the amount and currency.
If Upfluence Pay is your campaign's payment method, confirm the Upfluence Pay account to use before confirming.
Click Create payments to finalize.
2. How creators receive and claim payments
Once you authorize a payment:
The creator receives an email notification with a payment request link.
They must log in or create an Upfluence Creator Space account to claim it.
Payment requests cannot be deleted once created, but they can be canceled if needed.
The payment request email cannot be customized.
If a creator is having trouble accessing their payment link, copy the link from their profile in the campaign and share it with our support team via live chat.
3. How to track and manage payments
Go to the Payment history section in the creator's side panel to view the status of each payment request. Payment types are shown as:
Fixed payment: end-of-campaign payment
Affiliate payment: based on creator sales
Extra payment: a bonus payment issued manually
To process payments, go to the Payment app: How to manage influencer payments with the Payment app.
