What is the "Payment" email in Workflow?

Learn what the payment email is for

Updated over a week ago

The payment email is usually the last email you send to influencers within a Paid Promotion or Paid Promotion with Gifting campaign.

The payment email includes a merge field {{invoice_link}}. The invoice link is essential for influencers to upload their invoices, payment information, and tax documents and for you to collect these documents to process payments.

NOTE: The invoice or payment link can only be used by influencers or agencies.

To help influencers to use the payment link, you can include this guide in your email: Creator Space: How to submit my payment request.

To send the Payment email to influencers, you need to first confirm that they publish and then click "Send payment request" in the action column.

Influencers will be asked to Login or Sign up to the Upfluence Creator Space to complete a form and provide certain documentation.

Here's all the information influencers will have to provide:

  • Billing information: name, address, phone number, etc...

  • An invoice

  • W- 8 or W-9 form ( only if your billing country is the United States)

  • Payment method information (please see below screenshots for banking details needed for US accounts and accounts outside The US)

After influencers log in or sign up using the invoice link you sent, they should see these pages.

At the payment method page, influencers will be asked to provide payment details. If they opt for the wire transfer option, they'll need to provide their account number, bank routing number, and BIC code

Accounts outside will need to provide their IBAN for wire transfers

Paypal details are the same for any country
