Understanding Amazon's reporting delays

Why don’t I see reporting data for my Amazon Attribution links?

To protect shopper privacy, Amazon does not display data until minimum thresholds are met:

Data becomes visible only after:

  • 10 recorded clicks on a link, AND

  • The first sale is recorded

  • Amazon Ads reporting updates every 24 to 48 hours — these delays are set by Amazon and cannot be controlled by Upfluence

⏱️ Expected delays:

  • Clicks: Up to 24 hours to appear

  • Conversions: Up to 48 hours to appear

Exporting sales Data

  1. Go to your Campaign Dashboard in Upfluence.

  2. Click on the Export button.

  3. Select "Aggregated data" (this is the export type available for Amazon).

  4. Choose the date range for the data.

  5. Select the Amazon store you want to export data from.

  6. Click Export.

FAQa

1. What performance metrics does Amazon Attribution track?

Upfluence provides the following Amazon Attribution metrics:

  • Clicks: Total clicks on affiliate links

  • Detail page views: Number of visits to your product/store pages

  • Add to cart: Number of products added to cart

  • Purchases: Amazon does not provide order data but tracks purchases as events

  • Units sold

  • Sales value

  • Conversion rate: Purchases ÷ Clicks × 100

  • Commission: Payout rate assigned to each creator

  • Commission value

  • Brand Referral Bonus

2. What’s the Brand Referral Bonus (BRB)?

The Brand Referral Bonus allows sellers in Amazon’s US store to earn an average of 10% of product sales from traffic they drive to Amazon via non-Amazon marketing channels.

  • The bonus applies to additional products purchased from the brand within 14 days of clicking an ad.

  • The final bonus amount is confirmed two months after qualifying sales to account for order cancellations and returns.

You don’t need to do anything beyond linking your Amazon Ads account and setting up your tracking plan — Amazon handles BRB automatically.

3. Why does my Brand Referral Bonus show $0 despite having sales?

Per Amazon’s documentation:

  • Your Amazon Ads account must be linked to an Amazon US Store.

  • The bonus amount is estimated and updated with a 2-3 day delay.

  • The final bonus amount is credited two months later to accommodate cancellations and returns.

4. Can I pay creators a commission for promoting Amazon products?

Yes! You can set a commission structure in your Campaign settings and compensate creators based on their performance. More information can be found here.

5. Can I create an Amazon order through Upfluence?

No, Upfluence does not allow you to import Amazon product catalogs or place orders directly from your Amazon account.

However, you can:

  • Run an Amazon tracking plan alongside a CMS campaign (e.g., Shopify).

  • Send products to creators via your CMS and generate Amazon affiliate links to track performance.

6. Why don’t I see reporting data for my Amazon Attribution links?

To protect shopper privacy, Amazon does not display data until minimum thresholds are met:

  • Clicks appear after 10 recorded clicks.

  • Conversions appear after the first recorded sale.

  • Amazon Ads reporting updates every 24 to 48 hours.

ℹ️ Once shoppers have clicked your links, clicks may take up to 24 hours to appear, and conversions may take up to 48 hours.

7. Why can’t I see my campaign in Amazon’s backend?

Campaigns only appear in your Amazon Attribution Dashboard after there’s activity (click or sale). Amazon generates them once it detects link usage.

8. How can I identify campaigns in Amazon’s dashboard?

Campaigns created via Upfluence start with upf_ so they’re easy to spot.
