❓ FAQ

1. What are the data available for Amazon Attribution?

Here's the list of all data provided by Amazon and accessible from Upfluence:

  • Clicks: total clicks generated on the affiliate links.

  • Detail page views: detail page views on your store

  • Add to cart: number of your brands products added to cart

  • Purchases: Amazon doesn’t provide orders data such as we have on other CMS. They provide “Purchases” which represent the number of times any number of products are included in a single purchase event.

  • Units sold

  • Sales value

  • Conversion rate: number of purchases divided by the number of clicks, multiplied per 100

  • Commission: default payout rate individually assigned to the creator

  • Commission value

  • Brand referral bonus

2. What is the Amazon brand referral bonus?

The Brand Referral Bonus program gives sellers selling in Amazon’s US store, an opportunity to earn an average of 10% of product sales, from traffic they've driven to Amazon from their non-Amazon marketing channels.

The program helps brand owners advertise efficiently by receiving the same bonus for audience purchases of additional products from the brand up to 14 days after clicking on the ad. This amount is an estimate, and there is a 2-3 daytime lag for the BRB metric compared to other metrics.

3. My Brand Referral Bonus shows $0 as value despite the fact that I have some sales listed, why?

From Amazon Documentation:

  • The bonus amount is an estimate, and there is a 2-3 daytime lag for the Brand Referral Bonus metric compared to other metrics. For an ongoing campaign, the Brand Referral Bonus metric might not be reflective of the entire bonus that has been earned for the campaign. The final bonus amount for a campaign will be reflective once the campaign is completed. Bonus earned for a given month will be credited to your account two months after qualifying sales to accommodate order cancellation and customer returns.

4. Can I pay commissions to creators for a product they have promoted on Amazon ?

Similar to other CMS platforms, you will be able to define a default payout from your campaign settings and compensate creators based on this. More information can be found here.

5. Can I create an Amazon compensation order from Upfluence ?

We don't offer the possibility to import your Amazon product catalog nor to create an order from your Amazon account on Upfluence. However, you can create a campaign linked to your CMS (for example, Shopify) and establish an Amazon tracking plan on the same campaign. This allows you to send products to creators from your CMS and generate affiliate links that redirect to your Amazon shop.

6. I don't see any reporting data on my campaign/Amazon Attribution links, is it normal?

To protect shoppers' privacy, you'll start seeing traffic on Amazon after the first 10 clicks are recorded, and you'll begin seeing conversions after the first sale. Amazon Ads reporting is processed every 24h to 48 hours. This is not something Upfluence has control on.

ℹ️ Once shoppers have clicked your links, clicks may take up to 24 hours to appear, and conversions may take up to 48 hours.

We will always make sure we provide reporting data as fast as we can but here, it's a technical limitation from Amazon.
