⏱️ How long does it take for creators to get paid?

Upfluence Pay payouts typically happen in two steps.

1. Transfer to the creator’s Upfluence Pay account

By default, Upfluence Pay transfers are scheduled 120 hours (5 days) after you pay.

Creators can choose to receive funds immediately by clicking Get paid now. A 5% instant payment service fee applies.

2. Payout to the creator’s bank account or card

Stripe sends the funds from the creator’s Stripe Connect account to their linked bank account or card. This transfer typically takes 24 to 72 hours, depending on the bank’s processing time.

FAQs

1. I want to pay an influencer but another payment method is selected. What should I do?

If another payment method is selected, this means that you have allowed other payment methods in your campaign settings and that the influencer has decided not to be paid with Upfluence Pay.

To resolve this:

  • Update your campaign's payment methods. All payment requests not claimed by influencers will be automatically updated.

  • To change the payment method of an already claimed payment request, delete the payment request and create a new one.

2. I don't have enough funds, what should I do?

You can add funds to your account at any time. Find out more: How to set up Upfluence Pay?

3. My payment failed, and the reason shows "this payment has already been made", what does it mean?

If your payment failed with the reason "this payment has already been made," it means a duplicate payment was attempted. This typically occurs when you and a teammate simultaneously try to pay the same creator.

To fix it: coordinate with your teammates and retry the transaction if no payment was completed.

4. Can I pay to influencers with Upfluence Pay without setting a Workflow/ Campaign?

No, setting a workflow or campaign is mandatory for using Upfluence Pay.

5. How do currency conversion fees work?

For international payments:

  • A 1% Stripe conversion fee applies.

  • You can choose to cover it (creator receives full amount) or pass it to the creator (fee deducted from payout).

  • This decision is made during payment and shown in:

    • The payment summary

    • The transaction export file (via a new influencer_conversion_fees column)

This fee is determined by Stripe when the creator’s payout currency is different from USD.
