Upfluence new PayPal Payouts integration pays influencers in a few clicks from the Payment tool.
NOTE: Before we get started make sure you Integrate your PayPal business account to Upfluence: How to set up PayPal Payouts.
1. Set up your Campaign Payment Settings
When you create a campaign or in your campaign settings you need to make sure that you selected the Payment method:
PayPal: influencers will only be paid via PayPal
Wire Transfer and PayPal: influencer can choose if they want to be paid by PayPal or Wire Transfer
2. Send the Payment Email
In order to collect influencer Payment information, you need to send the payment email, in which there is a Payment/Invoice link unique to each influencer.
When you send this email, a payment request is created in the Payment tool, to view it you can click here: https://software.upfluence.co/workflow/payments.
3. View the influencer Payment Request and Pay it
In the Payment tool, Payment requests go through different stages: Unclaimed, Schedule, Ready To Pay, Paid.
Once an influencer claims and submitted its payment information, you can click on "Pay" to open the side panel.
Here on this side panel, you have all the information related to this payment request. You just need to click on "Pay with PayPal" to process the payment.
On your payment dashboard, the payment will be first "Schedule" until PayPal finishes processing the payment, then it will be marked as "Paid".

Q - Where can I check my PayPal account balance?
A - Your PayPal account balance is displayed in the payment tool at the top left corner.
Q - Why are my payments marked as failed?
A - There are different reasons why your payment failed, it can be because your account balance is insufficient, the email the influencer gave is not a PayPal email, etc.
In any case, you will be able to see why your payment is blocked and how to fix it on the side panel.
Q - Why can't I use PayPal to pay influencers?
A - There are different reasons why you don't have the option to Pay influencers with PayPal:
You didn't integrate your PayPal account yet or the PayPal integration was not shared with you. Check here with your Upfluence Account is connected to your PayPal account.
The influencer asked to be paid by Wire Transfer, make sure to select PayPal only if you want to only pay influencers via PayPal.
