If you are reading this article, it means that PayPal Payout is not activated on your account and that PayPal asks you to contact their support to enable it. It's usually the case for Non-US Merchants.
We have created this guide so that you can easily find the different elements necessary to proceed with the activation of your Payout account. You will need to contact PayPal Commercial team by email to:
Validate your account
Activate the Payout functionality
Fortunately, everything is done through the same point of contact, and it's relatively quick.
Email lkalufando@paypal.com and add the following information
Provide the email address linked to your PayPal account
Ask to enable the Payout functionality of the REST API. You can attach the screenshot above to give context if you want.
Explain that this API permission allows you to add your PayPal account on Upfluence and pay influencers.
If your PayPal account is already verified, they will directly create the request to enable Payout on your account. If it's not the case, they will ask you for some documents in order to verify your PayPal. These documents can vary depending on your country.
Once everything's validated, you will receive an email that confirms Payout is enabled on your account.
You can easily verify that you have the Payouts API enabled:Scroll down and, at the bottom of the column called Permission name, make sure that Payouts is enabled. You should notice two green check marks, signifying that the API is live.
