How to manage creator payments with the Payment app

Collect, pay, and track payments seamlessly in one place

The Payment app is your central hub for managing creator payments. From here you can:

  • Collect, review, and export creators' invoices and tax documents.

  • Pay creators via Upfluence Pay (including bulk payments), PayPal Payouts, or offline wire transfer

  • Track payment statuses in real time

  • Monitor your payment account balances in real-time.

1. At the top of the page: Amounts committed summary

At the top of your payment page, you’ll see a summary of your payment details, including:

  • Upfluence Pay balance: shown per account if you have multiple (USD, EUR)

  • PayPal account balance (if connected)

  • Total amount awaiting payment

  • Total amount of unpaid payments

2. Payment table

The payment table shows all payment requests on your account. You can customize which columns appear using the Manage fields menu.

Suggested columns to display:

  • Profile name: The creator receiving the payment.

  • Amount: The payment amount you set up.

  • Authorised at: The date you created the payment request (email sent to creator).

  • Submitted at: The date the creator uploaded the required documents (invoice/tax form).

  • Email: The creator’s email address.

  • Campaign: The related Upfluence campaign.

  • Payment Method: The payment method selected by the creator.

  • Action: Quick action buttons to process payments.

  • Status: The current payment status.

Payment statuses

  • Unclaimed: the creator hasn't claimed their payment yet

  • Ready to pay: the creator has uploaded their billing information and is waiting for your payment

  • Processing: the payment has been submitted and is scheduled to be transferred to the creator. With Upfluence Pay, there is a default 5-day (120-hour) delay before funds reach the creator's account

  • Paid: the payment has been completed or manually marked as paid

  • Canceled: the payment request was canceled before payment

  • Error: the payment failed. Contact Upfluence support via live chat with your payment details

⚠️ Note on "Paid" status:

  • Payments made via Upfluence Pay or integrated PayPal Payouts update to Paid automatically.

  • For payments processed outside of Upfluence (offline wire transfer or non-integrated PayPal), click $ Pay > Mark as paid to update the status manually.

3. How to pay creators

Option 1: Mass pay with Upfluence pay

See How to mass pay creators for the full walkthrough.

Option 2: Pay individually

  1. Click on a creator's row or select View/Pay to open the side panel.

  2. Review the creator's billing details, uploaded documents, payment method, and payout amount.

  3. Select the Upfluence Pay account to use for this payment. If a default account is set on the campaign, it will be pre-selected. You can change it for this payment without affecting the campaign default.

  4. If the creator's Upfluence Pay account is in a different currency, choose how to handle the conversion fee: cover it yourself or pass it to the creator.

  5. Click Pay with Upfluence Pay to complete the payment.

You can also use the side panel to:

  • Cancel a payment request: for example, if incorrect documents were uploaded. This lets you create a new request.

  • Mark a payment as completed manually: for payments processed outside of Upfluence. You can undo this with Mark as ready to pay if needed.

4. At the bottom of the page: Summary bar

The summary bar at the bottom of the page gives you a running total of your payments based on any filters currently applied to the table. Use it to quickly view totals by date range, campaign, or other criteria.
