If you already have a list of influencers before joining Upfluence and want to track and manage your ongoing collaborations, you can import them via CSV. This allows you to seamlessly add influencers to your Upfluence account and maintain accurate records of their details.
1. How does CSV import work?
You can add influencers to Upfluence’s database by uploading a CSV file containing their details.
Before you start:
Make sure you have a List set up in Upfluence where you want to add the influencers.
Learn how to create a new List if you haven’t done so.
2. How to import influencers via CSV
Step 1: Prepare your CSV file
Go to the Search & List app.
Click the downward arrow button by the side of List menu, find the List you prepared for import.
Click Upload file. A pop-up window will appear.
Download a sample CSV template from the pop-up to ensure correct formatting.
Your CSV file should contain at least the following required fields:

Note: Columns that don’t meet these requirements will be ignored. Invalid files will be rejected with error messages.
Step 2: Import your CSV file
Save your file in .CSV format to ensure proper processing.
Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload window.
Wait for the import to complete (this may take a few minutes, depending on the file size).
Step 3: Fix import errors (if any)
If there are issues with your file, an error message will appear in the top-right corner.
Common CSV errors and how to fix them:

Note: Only one URL per influencer is needed per platform. If an influencer already exists in your list, their profile will be updated instead of duplicated.

1. Is it possible to upload a hashed file of our influencer list with email address?
Yes, uploading a hashed file of your email list can be done through our Support team, simply reach out via Live Chat.
2. Will adding an influencer make their profile visible to all users?
When influencers are added via the Chrome Plugin or CSV upload, their profiles become visible to all Upfluence users. However, sensitive information like emails or customised merge fields remains private and is only accessible by your team.
3. Why didn’t some influencer profiles get added after several minutes?
Influencers who publish content that includes alcohol, CBD, violence, or other materials against Meta's Terms and Conditions (T&C) might be restricted.
This is due to Meta's policies preventing the retrieval of information from such profiles, not a restriction directly imposed by Upfluence.
4. Does Upfluence automatically capture all of an influencer's social media profiles after import?
When you use the Upfluence Chrome Plugin to add an influencer, it initially captures only the social media profile you added to your .CSV file at that moment.
After uploading this profile to Upfluence, an automatic process starts to identify and associate the influencer's other social media accounts with their Upfluence profile.
5. What if other social media accounts don’t appear after an hour?
If the system is unable to match an influencer’s accounts, it may be due to significant differences in their social media handles across platforms, or the system couldn’t verify that the accounts belong to the same person using publicly accessible information.

6. Can I upload a file with only certain details?
