In the campaign app, you can generate click tracking links for each influencer in your campaigns. These links allow you to monitor the number of clicks generated by influencer posts, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness of your marketing efforts.
I. Understanding Click Tracking Links vs. Affiliate Links
✔️ Click Tracking Links: Used to count the number of visitors/clicks generated by an influencer.
✔️ Affiliate Links: Linked to a discount offer and used to track the number of sales generated by an influencer.
II. Generating a Click Tracking Link
✅ From Your Campaign Dashboard
✔️ Add Multiple Influencers:
Select the influencers you want to add your tracking link to.
Click on the link icon (…).
Pick "Add tracking links".
Input the URL to track (make sure to include https://).
Click on "Create links".
Check the influencers' profiles to ensure the link has been generated properly.
✔️ Add Specific Links for Each Creator:
Open the influencer’s side panel profile, go to the Campaign tab, and find the Tracking session.
Input the URL you want to track (make sure to include https://).
Click on "Add tracking link".
Enable UTM parameters setup if needed (optional).
✅ From Your Campaign Settings
When creating your campaign, you can include Tracking links in the first step of the campaign creation.
If you didn't set it during creation, you can still do it in Campaign Settings after the campaign is created.
Go to your Campaign "Settings"
Enable Tracking Links
Add your links
Click on "Update Campaign" to save it.
When adding a tracking link after campaign creation, the tracking will only generate for new profiles added to your campaign. It's not retroactive.
III. Where to Find and Check a Creator's Click Tracking Link
✅ In the Publication Instructions:
In the second paragraph of the template, the scripts highlighted below will become a unique link for each of your influencers.
<% contribution.links.each do |link| %>
<%= link.tracking_url %>
<% end %>
At the end, these parameters will be automatically added into one final link. Influencers will see this final link in their brief and share/promote it.
