Once your influencers generate sales through their discount codes or affiliate links, you’ll need to track their performance, validate commission payments, and send payment requests. This guide outlines everything you need to know to complete these steps efficiently.
Step 1: Check influencer sales performance
You can monitor influencer performance using these three methods:
1. Performance tab (recommended)
The Performance tab gives you a detailed overview of all sales generated by your influencers.

2. Campaign table view
Add the following columns to your campaign table view via “Manage fields”:
Number of sales
Total generated sales value
Amount due
3. Creator profile page
Click on influencers name and open the influencer’s profile and view the dedicated section for tracking sales:
Total generated sales
Total affiliate commissions
Amount due
Calculation: Payouts are calculated based on the value of the sale without taxes and shipping cost, with the discount deducted.
Canceled/Refunded Orders: Only orders marked as “Paid” on your e-commerce are considered as sales. “Canceled” or “Refunded” orders are not included.
Step 2: Validate commission and send payment requests
Note: We recommend to wait at least 15 days before paying influencers for generated sales to meet the applicable retraction period.
Option 1: Validate individually
Go to your Campaign table view. Click on the influencer’s profile you want to pay.
In the side panel, find the "Affiliate Commissions" section. Here you will see the total amount due based on the influencer’s sales.
Click on thebutton.
Confirm the affiliate commission amount displayed.
Click on the "Authorize" button to generate a payment request.
Once authorized, an email from the Upfluence CS team will be sent to the influencer’s email address, notifying them of the payment.
Option 2: Validate massively
Select the influencers you want to pay by checking the boxes next to their names. You can also select all influencers if needed.
Click on Create payment > Affiliate payment
Review the amounts for each influencer, click “Create payment” to authorize payments.
Influencers who generated sales will receive an automated email from Upfluence as above. Influencers who did not generate sales will not receive an email.
Step 3: Pay influencers
Once commissions are validated, use the Payment app to process payouts.

Step 4: Share sales and commission details with influencers
Influencers may request detailed information on how their commissions are calculated. This is a common practice in the industry and helps maintain trust.
Option 1: Enable conversion visibility:
Allow influencers to see their sales performance by enabling the “Creators' conversions visibility” option:
Go to Campaign Settings.
Navigate to Sales & Activity Tracking → Tracking Plan Options.
Toggle on Creators' conversions visibility.
Click Update campaign to save your changes.
This way, influencers will be able to check their sales result on their own Upfluence creator space.
Option 2: Exporting sales and commissions data
Access the Performance tab > Conversions.
Select the conversions you want to export. You can filter by date range, specific influencers, or other criteria to narrow down the data you need.
Click on the "Export" button.
A .CSV file will be downloaded, containing detailed information about all sales made and the commission attributed to each sale.
Use this .CSV file to provide influencers with a breakdown of their sales and commissions. This exported file includes:
Influencer names
Dates of sales
Order IDs
Total sales value
Commission rates
Total commission due
This transparency ensures influencers understand how their commissions are calculated and builds trust in your campaign management.
