How to use a single link to track both sales and traffic

NOTE: This action must be done individually for each influencer and works for the following ecommerce integrations Shopify & AST only.

Adding the affiliate link to track traffic and sales.

  1. Copy the influencer's affiliate link.

  2. Select the influencer you want to track.

  3. Add the affiliate link to the influencer tracking link tab.

  4. Add tracking link to the save the change.

Once you've followed these steps correctly any sales made or clicks will be tracked correctly in your performance tab each in their respective tab for sales it will be in the conversion tab and for the clicks in the tracked links tab in your campaign.

How to properly adjust a discount code for influencers

Discount codes are a great way to incentivize your influencers to promote your products to their followers. However, making changes to the discount code may affect the tracking capabilities of your influencer's link. To ensure the accurate tracking of sales generated by your influencers, it's necessary to follow these steps.

NOTE: Changing the discount, especially in its pattern code, can break the link sent to influencers and stop its tracking capabilities. If you change the discount code, you must also reinsert the newly generated affiliate link into the influencer's tracking link tab and save the changes and resend it to the influencer to ensure continued tracking.

Step 1: Generate the new discount code

Before making any changes to the discount code, you'll need to generate a new one by going to your discount code settings. This will ensure that the updated discount code is unique and can be easily tracked.

Step 2: Reinsert the new discount code into the influencer's tracking link tab

Once you have generated the new discount code, you'll need to reinsert it into the influencer's tracking link tab. This will update the tracking link with the new discount code and ensure that sales are properly attributed to the influencer.

Step 3: Save the changes and resend the link to the influencer

After reinserting the new discount code into the tracking link, be sure to save the changes and resend the link to the influencer. This will ensure that the influencer has the most up-to-date tracking link and can continue to track their sales.

Following these steps will ensure that your influencers are able to accurately track their sales and receive proper credit for their promotions. It's important to note that any modifications made to the discount code may affect the tracking capabilities, so it's best to avoid making changes unless absolutely necessary.
