Updating Sender Name in Gmail Integration
If you're using the Gmail integration with Upfluence, you can easily update your sender name. Here's how it works:
Access the Integration Page:
Go to the Integration page on Upfluence where you manage your email integrations.
Edit the Sender Name:
You have two options to edit the sender name.
Click on the "Edit" button.
Click on the "..." (three dots) and select "Edit sender name
Update Your Full Name:
By selecting one of these options, a modal window will appear. In this modal, you can update your full name as you'd like it to appear in your emails.
NOTE: After entering your desired full name, save the changes by clicking the 'Save' button.
Once you've edited the sender name, the first and last names linked to your integration will be displayed on the integration page. This feature provides you with better visibility, allowing you to manage your email integrations more effectively.
Updating Sender Name in Outlook Integration
For Outlook integration, the process of changing the sender name is a bit different due to Microsoft's settings. Here's how it works:
Access the Integration Page:
Just like with Gmail, go to the Integration page on Upfluence.
Edit the Sender Name:
Similar to Gmail, you have two options to edit the sender name:
Click on the "Edit" button.
Click on the "..." (three dots) and select "Edit sender name."
Follow Microsoft's Instructions:
After selecting one of these options, a modal window will appear with all the information you need to follow to update the sender email. In this case, you will be redirected to your Microsoft account settings.
NOTE: Please be aware that the change in sender name could take several hours to reflect. You will see the new sender name displayed once Upfluence receives the notification of the change from Outlook.
