If you've reached this point, you’ve likely completed your first collaboration with a creator for a flat payment campaign. Now that they've delivered on their agreement, it’s time to pay them the agreed-upon fee.
There are two key steps to this process:
Collecting their payment information in the Campaign app
Launching the payment in the Payment app
In this article, we’ll focus on Step 1: How to generate a payment request for your influencers in the Campaign app.
Note: This applies to flat payment and product + payment campaigns.
Here's a helpful video on how to do this:
Step-by-Step Guide
I. Create payment requests in a campaign
Before getting started, double-check the agreed-upon payment amount by reviewing the Campaign > Workflow tab. Verify that the amounts in "Your offer" and "Influencer price" match.
Go to the desired campaign to confirm the influencer's current status. When the influencer is ready for payment, click the "Confirm" button.
II. Authorize the payment
After clicking "Confirm," a pop-up window will appear. If you're ready to proceed, click "Authorize for payment."
Once authorized, the status will change to "Authorized for Payment," and you'll see the option to "Send payment request."
III. Send the payment request
Clicking "Send payment request" will generate a payment email using a preset template, you can review and adjust the email content as needed.
This template includes a fixed_payment_link to the influencer, allowing them to claim their payment and submit any necessary documents (e.g., invoice, tax forms) based on your payment settings.
Once satisfied, click "Save and Send."
Best Practice: Include this article in your email for new creators: Creators: How to submit my payment request to guide them through the process.
Voilà! You’ve successfully created and sent the payment request. Now, your influencers can claim their payment.
For the next step, head to the Payment app to monitor the status and initiate the payment using the Upfluence Payment Tool
