Creators: How to submit my payment request

If you have landed on this article it is because you have received a payment link from a brand that wants to work with you! To make the collaboration process easier with content creators such as yourself, this company is using Upfluence.

How to claim your payment:

1. Open the payment link

  • Open the payment link sent by the brand.

  • Log in to your Upfluence Creator Space.

Note: If you don’t have an account, follow the steps in this article: Creators: How to create an account - A step-by-step guide.

2. Update Your Billing Information

  • Go to Settings > Billing.

  • Update your billing details and payment method, configure your Upfluence Pay account.

3. Claim Your Payment

  • Locate your pending payment under the Payments tab and click Claim.

  • Alternatively, reopen the payment link while logged into your account.

4. Upload Your Invoice and Billing Information

  • Provide the required tax documents and invoice.

  • Update any additional billing settings as needed.

Note: If tax documents or invoices aren’t requested, it means the brand has not set those requirements. For help creating these documents, refer to our guides or contact the brand for clarification.

5. Submit Payment Information

  • Double-check your payment method and the information provided.

  • Click Submit Payment Information to finalize.

Note: If you see a pop-up indicating issues:

Possibility 1: You haven’t yet created an Upfluence Pay account. Follow this guide: Creators: How to create my Upfluence Pay account.

Possibility 2: Your Upfluence Pay account is pending. Check this by navigating to Billing > Manage Upfluence Pay.

6. Review the Confirmation Page

  • After submission, you’ll see a confirmation page.

  • Use the contact email on this page for any questions related to your payment.

7. Track Your Payments

  • Go to the Payments tab to view all your payment history.

  • Payment statuses include:

    • Pending: Payment is being processed by the brand. Click View for processing times and contact information.

    • Paid:

      • If paid via Upfluence Pay, the brand has fully completed payment.

      • If marked as paid via PayPal or wire transfer, the brand manually updated the status. Contact the brand if you haven’t received the funds.

    • Unclaimed: You need to claim the payment.


Payment troubleshooting

I still can't find my payment request on the Payment tab, what should I do?

If you do not find one of your payment requests, you can still access it using the link you received via email. By clicking on this link you will be redirected to the payment request and you should be able to find the payment request in your creator space.

I have claimed my payment but I still have issues, what should I do?

Please note that the payment processing may take several days, and Upfluence is not responsible for your payment if it is managed by the brand.

You can obtain this information and find the appropriate contact by following these steps :

  1. From your creator's space, payments tab, after claiming your payment, click on the "View" button.

  2. Clicking this button will provide you with an estimate of expected payment processing duration.

  3. If you encounter ongoing issues beyond this period, you will find the contact email of the person to reach out to. Kindly send your request to the email address provided on your payment request.

I created my account and when I log back in I don't have the "skip for now button". How should I process payment now?

If when you log back into your account, you land on the following page ( see screenshot), it means that you didn't use the payment link sent by the brand to log back in.

To claim a payment request or check the status of a payment request, use the link sent by the brand.

When I log in to my account using the payment link, the page keeps loading, what should I do?

Clear your cookies and log back in using the payment link sent by the brand.

  1. Click right on the lock and open your Cookies

  2. Remove all of your cookies and refresh your page.

I'm a talent agency, can I claim a payment instead of an influencer?

If you are an agency, you can create an account using the email address of your choice and click on "Skip for now".
