To go live with your first Upfluence pay payment, you'll need to connect up your payout information via a brand new, dedicated Stripe Express account. You can connect either a bank account or a debit card to receive payouts. You can only connect one payout method at a time.
✌🏻 How to create my Upfluence Pay account
Log into your Creator space settings
Navigate to the Payouts tab in the navigation bar
Scroll down to the "Payment methods" section and click on "Set up" in the Upfluence Pay card
Select the country that will be assigned to your Stripe account. Click on next when you are done.
For individuals, use your home address country; for companies, use your registered business country. Once selected and confirmed, the country cannot be updated.
Stripe signup process 🏦
You will be directed over to Stripe to get set up.Enter your email address and phone number when prompted. Click on "Continue" and enter the Stripe verification code.
Note: Your email will be the login email for your Stripe account, and you'll be asked to verify your mobile phone number with a 6-digit code – make sure you use valid information!
Then, in the drop-down window, please select the country where you or your business will legally operate and the type of business. Click on continue when you are done.
Then, depending on the country selected, the required information will be different. Please complete the remaining information carefully.
Once the information is completed, you'll be asked to connect a payout method where you will receive payments. You can select your bank from the available options, add your bank account manually, or connect a debit card (only available in certain countries).
Once your payout account has been added, you will need to accept Stripe Service Agreement. Click on Agree and Submit when you are done.
Important: Always verify and double check your payment details, especially the IBAN or account number. Because once sent to the wrong person, the transfer is irreversible.
🎉🎉 Your account has now been created! Stripe will verify the provided information. It can take a few hours to confirm your account.

My Upfluence Pay account has been created, but the status is “Pending”, what does it mean?
You have not completed the co-configuration of your account: You need to access your Stripe account and add the missing information.
Stripe verifies your information. This can take 24 hours.

Can I link an existing Stripe account?
No, it's not currently possible to link an existing Stripe account to Upfluence. This is because the connection is only made with a Stripe account type called Stripe Express, which is not the same as a direct/regular Stripe account.
Can I update the country of my Stripe account?
No, it's not possible to update the country linked to your Stripe account.
How can I get paid with Upfluence Pay by the brands I work with?
Brands can choose to use Upfluence Pay or other payment services (PayPal, Wire transfer). When you access a payment request, you'll be presented with one of the payment methods authorized by the brand.
