Using merge fields is a great way to personalize your emails for each influencer. Merge fields are dynamic fields that will change in every email depending on the information attached to influencers' profiles. (Name, location, name of social media handle, etc...).
You have two options to create your own merge fields.
Create merge fields for each influencer directly on their profile
Open your influencer side panel and open the "Influencer" section on the top
Click on "add merge field"
Enter the name and value of the merge field
Click on save.
If you are using the same merge field for multiple influencers, it will be faster to use a spreadsheet to create your merge field and add value to it.
Create several merge fields from a .csv spreadsheet in 4 steps:
Download your influencer list using the "Move to" button. Click on "File" and select either .csv or .xlsx.
For users with the "all" data export options select "Basic data" to not use your export credits.
Add new columns to create new merge fields.
You will be able to add new columns that will be automatically transformed as merging fields to personalize your emails even more.
ie. product/price/shoe_size/tracking_number
Fill in the columns with the information you want to use.
Download your spreadsheet as a .csv file
Upload it to the database
Depending on the number of influencers you have on your sheet, it may take a couple of minutes for all of the influencers to appear on your list.
You can find your new merge field on influencers' profiles in the section influencer and use it in your mailing.
