Jaice already sets you up with a targeted creator list and a ready-to-send email template. If you want to push your application rate even higher, this article covers the extra moves that make a real difference.
🎯 Start With the Right Creators
The foundation of good outreach is a relevant list of creators. The more a creator fits your brand’s world, the more likely they are to apply.

⚙️ Optimize Your Inbox Setup
Before you send a single email, make sure your technical setup is solid. This is what determines whether your outreach lands in inboxes or goes straight to spam.
Connect your own email domain
We recommend sending outreach from your own email domain (yourname@yourbrand.com). It looks more professional and significantly improves deliverability. Creators are more likely to open an email that comes from a recognizable brand address.
💡 Tip: If your domain is new, or if your emails are regularly flagged as spam, consider using the Upfluence mailing provider instead. It is a reliable fallback that protects your sender reputation while your domain builds trust.
Warm up a new inbox
If you are using a new email address or domain, do not send hundreds of invitations on day one. Inbox providers flag sudden spikes in send volume as suspicious. Start with a small batch, 20 to 30 emails per day, and increase gradually over the first couple of weeks. A warmed-up inbox means your emails actually reach creators.
✉️ Write an Email That Gets Responses
Jaice generates your email templates based on your campaign brief. The drafts are a strong starting point, but always review them before sending to make sure the tone and messaging feel right for your brand. A well-crafted outreach email can significantly increase how many creators open, read, and apply.
Start with the subject line
Your subject line determines whether the email gets opened at all. Avoid anything that reads like a mass send: “Free product,” “Paid partnership opportunity,” “Collab request.” These get filtered out before the email is even opened.
A subject line that works 👉 [Your Brand] x {{influencer_name}}: [specific hook]
💡 Keep this exact subject line across every email, including follow-ups. Changing it mid-conversation creates separate threads and makes your communication feel scattered.
Personalize the first line
Use merge fields to make every email feel written for that specific creator.
The first sentence should reference their content style, or why they are a natural fit for your brand. The template should not read like a template.
Make the offer easy to scan
You have four to ten seconds before someone decides whether to keep reading. Structure the offer in bullet points:
What you are offering (product, flat fee, commission, or a mix)
What you are asking for (one reel, a story, an unboxing)
Why them specifically, in one line
One clear CTA
Make sure {{application_link}} is in the email. This is the single most important merge field in your outreach. Without it, a creator who wants to say yes has nowhere to go.
Send at the right time
Mid-week sends, Tuesday to Thursday, tend to perform better. Avoid Monday mornings when inboxes are at their noisiest.

💰 Make the Offer Worth Applying For
Compensation type and amount matter more than most people expect. A creator who receives an invitation will weigh whether the collaboration is worth their time before they apply.
A few things that affect this:
Gifting only works best for micro and nano creators, and only when the product is genuinely relevant and exciting to them
Flat fees appeal to creators who want certainty and are more likely to attract larger profiles
Commission works well for creators who believe in the product and have an engaged audience that converts
Tailoring the offer to the creator’s size and type increases the chance they say yes. A rate that makes sense for a nano creator will not land the same way with a mid-tier one.

🔁 Follow Up Without Feeling Pushy
Most applications come after the second or third email. A single send is rarely enough.
When creating a campaign with Jaice, automated follow-ups are on by default. We recommend keeping that setting. Jaice generates your initial email template, and follow-up sequence, so the entire outreach process runs without you having to manage it message by message.
🌐 Let Creators Come to You
Not all outreach has to be outbound. Two tools in Upfluence let creators find and apply to your brand on their own.
Ambassador Landing Page
Create an Ambassador landing page where creators who already know and love your brand can apply to work with you. Publish it on your website, in your email newsletter, and in your social media bio. Interested creators will come to you.
Upfluence Marketplace
The Marketplace is an inbound channel inside Upfluence where creators browse active campaigns and request to join. Once your campaign is live, creators who match your category can find and apply without you ever sending an email.
⚡ Once They Apply, Move Fast
Creators apply to multiple brands at the same time. A slow response significantly reduces the chance they commit to yours. When an application comes in, review and approve it quickly. The faster you move, the more likely the collaboration actually happens.
