Upfluence Chrome Plugin: Troubleshooting

I can't use your Chrome Plugin now, why? How to fix this?

Updated over a week ago

If you're having trouble using the Upfluence Chrome plugin, this article will guide you through the various problems and their potential solutions.

1. You need to enable third-party cookies

Google has initiated changes to its privacy policies, particularly regarding third-party cookies. As part of this effort, they're gradually blocking by default third-party cookies for Chrome users. This shift in policy can interfere with the operation of certain Chrome extensions, including Upfluence.

Please read this dedicated article for guidance on how to activate Third-Party cookies.: πŸ”— Chrome Plugin: Enable Third-Party cookies

2. You need to adjust your Pop-up Settings

  1. Within Chrome settings, locate and click on β€œSite settings” under the β€œPrivacy and security” section.

  2. Scroll down to the β€œContent” section and click on β€œPop-ups and redirects.” chrome://settings/content/popups

  3. Ensure that the toggle switch next to β€œSites can send pop-ups and use redirects” is turned on to allow pop-ups and redirects from sites.

3. You need to be connected on your Upfluence account

If you are a paying Upfluence user, please make sure you are logged in to your Upfluence account. With this login, we can identify you correctly and make sure there's a link between the plugin and your Upfluence account so we can easily add creators to your account and access more plugin data.

4. Try re-installing the Chrome Plugin

If you've made these adjustments and the Plugin is still not working, try reinstalling the Upfluence Chrome extension.
