When your campaign involves sending gifts to influencers, collecting and managing their product preferences and shipping addresses is an important step. This article talks about how to handle it smoothly:
1. Identify influencers who submitted their gift choices
Once you’ve sent out application emails, influencers will fill out the application form to select their product, provide compensation preferences, and enter shipping details.
Option 1: Filter by status
To find influencers who have submitted their information but haven’t yet received a Product shipment email yet:
Filter the Status column for “Influencer Responded”
Option 2: Check product/address columns
To see who submitted gift info at any campaign stage:
Use the “Product Gifting” or “Shipping Address” columns in your dashboard
Note: If an influencer’s status has changed from "Waiting Application" but no product or address details appear, this indicates their Status was manually changed before creators submitted their form.
To resolve this, click the “Back” button to revert to "Waiting Application" and let them reapply.
2. Review and update product selections
Need to make a change because a product is unavailable or the creator changed their mind?
Find their gift choice under the “Product” column
Click the edit button to update or confirm the selection
Note: Changes can be made until you create a compensation order to your e-commerce store (for native integration users). Once the order is sent to your store (for native integrations), changes are locked.
3. Review and update shipping addresses
If a creator reaches out with a new address:
Go to the campaign dashboard
Find the influencer and click the edit icon next to their shipping address
Enter the updated info and click Save
You’ll see a confirmation message once saved
Note: Address updates apply only to the specific campaign you are editing. You can change shipping addresses until the compensation order is created, after which they are locked.
4. Create compensation orders
Once you're ready to ship, you can proceed in one of two ways:
Option 1: One-click order (Automated shipping from Upfluence)
For users of Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Magento: Use the one-click order feature to create and send compensation orders easily. Check this guide for detailed steps.
Option 2: Export info for manual fulfillment
If you’re not using a native integration:
Select the influencers
Click the “...” button
Choose “⬇ Campaign Data” to download a file with products and shipping addresses
5. Reuse addresses in future campaigns
Once a compensation order is placed through Upfluence:
The address is saved to the creator’s profile
It will automatically populate in future campaigns, speeding up order setup
Note:
Addresses are private to your organization.
Always verify addresses before shipping to avoid errors. If an influencer provides a new address for a latest campaign, it will overwrite their profile address for that campaign only — it won’t change past campaign data.
Special use-cases
Have a pre-existing list of shipping addresses?
Make sure all required fields are filled (everything except “Address Line 2” is mandatory)

Important shipping requirement: phone numbers
Most e-commerce platforms require a phone number for shipments. This isn’t an Upfluence rule — it’s a standard shipping requirement.
Forgot to include a phone number in your form?
You can still complete the order by assigning a dummy phone number to the creator’s profile when setting up the gifting.
