When sending your ideal creators an initial outreach email via Campaign email flow, this email includes a magic link that directs influencers to their dedicated Application form. There, creators can view your campaign brief, choose their gift compensation, and provide their shipping address if interested.
This article explains how to set up your product/gift compensation displayed on the application form, and potentially helps you collect creators' shipping addresses if they decide to join your campaign.
Step-by-Step Guide
I. Adding Products
🧐 You can set up your product compensation at two points:
✅ While Creating Your Campaign:
At Step 3 - Compensation
✅ Editing It After the Campaign is Created:
Go to Campaign Settings - Compensation
🧐 There are two ways of adding products:
✔️ If you have integrated your e-commerce store and you would like to ship products directly from your store - ✅ Import Products from Your E-commerce Shop
✔️ If you don’t have an integrated e-commerce store but still are offering gifts as compensation to your creators - ✅ Manual Product Upload
✅ Import Products from Your E-commerce Shop
1️⃣ Quickly import products directly from your store without manually adding options.
2️⃣ Select the products and click "Add Products."
3️⃣ You can add up to 10 products at a time and repeat the process if needed.
NOTE: Stock updates from your store won’t reflect on Upfluence. Ensure your products are up-to-date.
✔️ For Digital Products:
Digital products CAN be imported, with shipping address requirements indicated based on your CMS settings.
From Shopify: A shipping address is required if the option "This is a physical product" is checked.
From WooCommerce: A shipping address is required if the options "virtual" and/or "downloadable" are checked.
✅ Manual Product Upload
1️⃣ Go to the "Compensation" tab and click on "Add Products".
2️⃣ Upload Product Details:
A window will open, allowing you to manually upload product details (name, picture, price, type, options, etc.).
You can add various types of products, including vouchers, apparel, and digital content.
Enable or disable the shipping address form based on the product type.
3️⃣ Shipping Address Requirement:
Products requiring a shipping address will display a truck icon.
When toggled on, a pop-up will appear for influencers to enter their shipping address upon acceptance.
4️⃣ Save and Add Products:
Click "Save Product" to add the product.
Repeat for additional items.
II. Managing Product Availability
✅ Gifting Products Management
1️⃣ Add, Delete, and Modify:
Add, delete, and modify product options or availability anytime within your campaign settings.
2️⃣ Update Availability:
Update product availability by toggling the switch in your campaign settings under "Compensation".
Products can only be deleted or modified if they haven't been selected by any influencer. If selected, switch off the product option to make it invisible to new applicants.
3️⃣ Save Changes:
Don’t forget to click "Save" after making modifications.
✅ Product Selection Quantity and Availability
Limit the total number or value of products each influencer can select as compensation.
Prevent influencers from selecting multiple variants of the same item by limiting each product to a single quantity.
If no limits are set, influencers can select each listed option by default. The Limit the total number and Limit the total value options enable you to choose the number/ total value of products each influencer can select as compensation. This allows you to limit the selection while still offering a wide choice of products.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I use “add product” and “import product” on the same campaign?
No, you cannot use both "add product" and "import product" options on the same campaign simultaneously. Additionally, you cannot switch between these options in the middle of your campaign.
2. Is there a maximum capacity of products that can be available in one campaign?
No, there is no maximum capacity of products for a campaign. However, each import is limited to 10 products, although you can repeat the import process as many times as needed.
3. Why can't I delete a product from the compensation page?
If the product has already been selected by an influencer, it cannot be deleted from your campaign. However, you can:
Change its availability in the campaign settings, under the Compensation tab to make it invisible to other influencers.
Delete the influencer who chose the product from your campaign dashboard, which will allow you to delete the product. However, this action is strongly discouraged as it results in the loss of all campaign records associated with that influencer.
