When creating Tracking plans, you have the flexibility to apply discount codes in a targeted manner, whether it's to specific products or categories. This allows for customization and versatility in your promotional campaigns.
For example, you can create discounts specifically for the launch of a new product line or apply discount codes exclusively to items that are not already discounted. This guide will show you how to set up and manage these targeted discount codes.

Step-by-Step Guide
I. Creating a Tracking Plan
To get started, follow this guide to create a new "Tracking Plan" from your campaign's Settings.
On the bottom of the “Tracking Plan Setup” page, you will find the section "Select specific products or categories."
Enable the toggle button to show two choices: Categories or Products.
You can only select either Categories OR Products for each plan.
II. Applying Discounts to Categories or Products
✅ Categories Option:
A select input will appear, showing all the available categories in your store.
Check the boxes corresponding to the categories you want to apply the discount to. To remove a category, click on the "x" icon.
If a picture and name are defined for each category in your store, they will be displayed for easier identification.
✅ Products Option:
A select input will appear, showing all the available products in your store.
Check the boxes corresponding to the products you want to apply the discount to. To remove a product, click on the "x" icon.
III. Finalizing the Discount Offer
After configuring your campaign, click on the "Create Discount Offer" button to confirm and initiate the creation of the discount codes.
The discount code will be automatically generated and added to your store.
