Upfluence allows you to integrate your BigCommerce store to generate discount codes and track sales for your influencer marketing campaigns.
💡 You can connect an unlimited number of BigCommerce stores by repeating the steps below.
Step 1: Generate API Credentials from BigCommerce
In your BigCommerce dashboard, go to Settings.
Scroll down to the API menu and click "Store-level API Accounts".
Click "+ Create API Account" in the top right corner.
On the API Account Creation page, enter the following details:
Token type: V2/V3 API Token
API Name: We recommend using "Upfluence"
oAuth Scopes
Customers: Modify
Marketing: Modify
Orders: Modify
Products: Read-only
Information & settings: Read-only
Store Locations: Read-only
Store Inventory: Read-only
Get your Store Hash:
At the top of this page, you’ll see the "API Path" field.
Copy the Store Hash (e.g.,
f4bl9upz68
).Store it safely, as you’ll need it for the connection.
Get your Access Token:
Click "Save" at the bottom right to generate your API keys.
Keep this page open — this is the only time you will have access to these credentials.
If lost, you’ll need to delete and regenerate new API keys.
Step 2: Connect Your BigCommerce Account to Upfluence
Open Upfluence and go to Account Settings > Integrations.
Scroll down to E-commerce Accounts and click + Add Account > BigCommerce.
Enter the required details:
URL Domain: Your BigCommerce store domain (e.g.,
upfluence.com
).Store Hash: The value you copied in Step 1 - 5.
Access Token: The value you copied in Step 1 - 6.
Click Connect.
Once connected, your store will appear in the E-commerce section of Upfluence, and you can start using discount codes, order tracking, and sales monitoring.

You can connect an unlimited number of e-commerce stores to your Upfluence account
2. What should I do if I receive the message "The shop is already connected to an account"?
This means the store has already been connected by another team member.
Check with your team to find out who set up the integration.
Ask them to share the integration with you: How to share integrations with your team.
3. How secure is my data?
All data is encrypted and only accessible through your Upfluence account.
Upfluence does not store any data related to your BigCommerce store account.
To remove access, simply disconnect the BigCommerce integration from Upfluence.
4. Who can I contact if I have questions about my data?

5. How can I delete my BigCommerce integration?
To remove access, go to integrations in Upfluence and disconnect the BigCommerce integration.
6. When I connect BigCommerce to Upfluence, are old discount offers automatically imported?
No, coupon codes that were not created via Upfluence are not automatically imported.
To include these codes:
Ensure your BigCommerce store is integrated with Upfluence.
Prepare files for your code import based on discount types.
Follow the instructions in this guide: How to import discount codes.
Submit the required files via chat support or email.
Once all correct files are received, our tech team will manually import the codes within one week.
