When reaching out to influencers via Campaign email flow, they receive an Application Form together with the invitation email. This form allows them to:
View the Campaign brief.
Choose products as compensation ✨.
Provide their shipping address (if required).
This guide explains how to:
Add products to your Campaign.
Manage product availability.
Track influencer selections.
📌 Note: This refers to the products offered as gifts to influencers, not the full product catalog you’re promoting to customers.
1. Adding products to a Campaign
You can set up product compensation at two points:
During campaign creation – Step 3: Compensation
After campaign setup – Go to Campaign Settings > Compensation
There are two ways to add products:
Import products from your eCommerce store – For integrated Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Magento stores.
Manual product upload – If your store is not integrated, or you’re gifting vouchers, apparel, or digital products.
Option 1: Import products from your eCommerce store
Go to "Compensation" and click "+ Add Products".
Stay on the "Import Products" tab.
Select the store from which you want to create gifting orders.
Select the products you want to offer.
Click "Add Products" (You can import up to 10 products at a time, but you can repeat the process for additional products).
📌 Important Notes:
Stock updates do not sync automatically with Upfluence. Ensure inventory is accurate before importing.
Digital products can be imported but require a shipping address based on CMS settings:
Shopify → A shipping address is required if "This is a physical product" is checked.
WooCommerce → A shipping address is required if "Virtual" and/or "Downloadable" is checked.
Option 2: Manually upload products
Go to "Compensation" and click "+ Add Products".
Switch to the "Add Manually" option.
Enter product details (name, image, price, type, and options).
(Optional) Toggle shipping address requirement (A truck icon appears for required shipping).
Click "Save Product" to finalize.
Repeat the steps above for multiple products.
2. Managing product availability
Editing and modifying products
Add, delete, or modify product options anytime in Campaign Settings > Compensation.
Toggle the availability switch to show/hide products in the application form.
Note: Products already selected by an influencer cannot be deleted. Instead, disable the product for new applicants.
Limiting influencer selections
Limit to one of each: Prevent influencers from selecting multiple variants of the same item.
Limit the total number: Set a maximum number of products per influencer (e.g., max 3 products).
Limit the total value: Set a maximum value of selected products per influencer (e.g., max $200 worth of products).
Show product prices to influencers: Toggle on to let influencers see the product value in their application form.
Frequently asked questions
1. Can I use both “Add Product” and “Import Product” in the same campaign?
No, you must choose one method per campaign and cannot switch once set.
2. Is there a limit to the number of products I can add?
No, but you can only import 10 products at a time (repeat the process as needed).
3. Can I sync hidden Shopify products to Upfluence?
Yes, hidden products can be imported into your gifting campaign.
4. Why can’t I delete a product from the campaign?
You cannot delete a product if any influencer has already selected it. However, you can:
Disable availability in Campaign settings to hide it from new applicants.
Remove the influencer from the campaign then delete the product (not recommended as this erases Campaign records and can not be recovered).
