Frequently asked questions
1. I followed the steps but can’t connect my Gmail account. What should I do?
If you're logged into multiple Gmail accounts in Chrome, try using an incognito window.
If that doesn’t work, update your Chrome cookie settings at chrome://settings/cookies and select "Allow all cookies" or "Block third-party cookies in incognito mode", then reload the page.
Ensure "Pop-ups and redirects" are enabled in your browser at chrome://settings/content.
2. Why are my emails scheduled for next week?
Upfluence enforces a sending delay of 3 minutes and 45 seconds per email to comply with Gmail’s sending limits and reduce the risk of account suspension. If you have multiple mailings running at the same time, this delay applies across all emails sent from the same Gmail account, causing them to be queued and sent later.
3. How many Gmail accounts can I connect to Upfluence?
There is no limit—you can connect an unlimited number of Gmail accounts.
4. Can I integrate Gmail aliases or group emails?
No, Gmail aliases and group emails cannot be integrated at this time.
5. Can I send two mailings at once if I integrate multiple gmail accounts?
Yes, if each mailing uses a different email address. Emails sent from the same address will be queued and sent sequentially, but emails from different addresses will be sent simultaneously.
6. My emails were bounced back and this is the notification I got, what do I do?
You likely haven’t set up DKIM and DMARC. Follow this guide to ensure compliance: Ensuring compliance with Google and Yahoo’s email requirements.
7. My Gmail account was blocked after sending 200+ emails despite GSuite’s 2K daily limit. Why?
Your account was likely blocked because recipients marked your emails as spam. GSuite automatically blocks senders when emails receive too many spam reports.
8. My emails are getting marked as spam. How can I fix this?
Stop the mailing to prevent further spam reports.
Wait 24 hours and send regular emails to reset your reputation.
Modify your email content to make it less commercial or spammy.
If your account remains blocked, your IP may have a poor reputation. Contact your Email Service Provider (ESP) to request a new IP or switch to a different email account.
9. How can I prevent my Gmail account from being blocked again?
Follow email service provider (ESP) guidelines to ensure compliance.
Avoid long subject lines, excessive images, and spam trigger words that may flag your emails as spam.
Gradually increase your sending volume to warm up your email address.
Maintain a consistent sending pattern to build a strong sender reputation.

10. Why do my Gmail accounts keep disconnecting?
Gmail may suspend accounts for violating bulk email policies. Even though Upfluence spaces out emails, your account may still get disconnected if:
Your email is new and hasn’t been properly warmed up.
You’re using other mailing services at the same time.
You’ve sent a large volume of emails outside Upfluence.
Recipients have reported your emails as spam.
If your account is repeatedly suspended, consider creating a new inbox and warming it up correctly.
11. How to warm up an email address?
Start by sending a small number of emails and gradually increase the volume.
On the first day, send around 20 emails.
The next day, send 40 emails.
Continue increasing the number of emails daily to avoid triggering Gmail’s spam filters.
Modify your email content to look less commercial or spammy.
12. How many Gmail accounts can I connect on one Upfluence account?
There is no limit on the number of Gmail accounts you can connect.
13. Will emails sent through Gmail use Upfluence’s SMTP servers or my own IP?
Emails sent through your Gmail integration use Gmail’s servers. However, to protect your sender score, it’s recommended to use Upfluence’s mailing system.
