In this article, we will explore some of the common reasons why invitation emails and application links may not work as expected and provide step-by-step solutions to resolve these issues.

Adding an Influencer Not in the Campaign:

A common issue that can disrupt the functionality of an invitation email is when an influencer is added to the email but is not part of the campaign. You can add the influencer from a list you've created or the IRM tab or even the mailing tab as well to your workflow campaign.

Within the IRM tab, you have the option to filter by either the mailing name or the influencer's list. Once you've applied your filter, click on the "add to" button and choose the specific campaign to which you wish to send them.

You should now see the influencer in the campaign.

In the search tab, you can simply click the "+" icon to directly include them in your campaign.

In the mailing tab, another option is to transfer them to your campaign by selecting the influencer and then clicking on "add to," where you can then choose the campaign of your choice.

Application Link Format:

If your application link isn't working, one possible reason is that the hyperlink in your email does not include the {{application_link}} merge field. To fix this issue, follow these steps:

  • Click on the hyperlink in your email.

  • Add the {{application_link}} merge field in the "Link URL" section.

  • Save the changes to the hyperlink.

Application Link Not Linked to a Campaign:

  • Select "Select a Workflow Campaign" within your email.

  • Choose the campaign the influencer is associated with.

Resending Application Link for Follow-Up:

  • Click on "Email."

  • Include the {{application_link}} merge field in the email content.
