How to find and edit my Discount codes and Tracking plans after creation?

Find and edit your Tracking plan on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and Big Commerce.

Updated over a month ago

You can make various edits to the tracking plans you created.

You can edit your creators' discount codes directly within Upfluence, and most other edits can be done directly through your eCommerce store back-end.

I. Edits Available from Upfluence

In addition to the CMS edits, discount codes can be modified individually through Upfluence based on the table below. Note that the pattern cannot be modified.

Change Discount Code Text

Shopify

WooCommerce

Magento

Big Commerce

Step-by-Step Guide

1️⃣ Finding the Discount Code:

✔️ In Workflow: Locate the column “Discount Code.”

✔️ In the Community App: Locate the column “Status.”

2️⃣ Editing the Code:

  1. On the right of the displayed code, click the "Edit" button (pencil icon).

  2. A modal will open. Modify the code text in the dedicated field.

  3. Validate your changes by clicking the “Save” button.

💡 Once the discount code is updated, it also updates the affiliate links liked to the codes (Shopify only).

Codes must be unique across your eCommerce store as per your CMS request to track sales correctly. If the new discount code name already exists, you won't be able to save it. An error message will appear to prevent duplicate codes.

II. Edits Available from Your E-Commerce Store

All of these modifications listed below need to be done directly on your store. Mass edits can be done for all eCommerce shops except for WooCommerce. For WooCommerce, edits can only be done one code at a time.

Here's a screenshot from BigCommerce support channel:

If your team need to check all codes for a tracking plan, you will need to use API on BigCommerce, your tech team can refer to BigCommerce documentation: https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/store-operations/promotions/api-ui-features
