If you already have active discount codes on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce before joining Upfluence, our support team can help you import these codes for your existing influencers and track their performance in Upfluence.

How is the data transferred?
Step 1: Set up a new Campaign with a tracking plan
Before importing discount codes, you need to create a new Campaign with a tracking plan that matches your existing codes.
Ensure the tracking plan applies to the same shop as your imported codes.
The rules in the tracking plan (e.g., discount type, usage limits) MUST match the imported codes.
This ensures accurate performance tracking for the influencers in Upfluence.
⚠️ Important: DO NOT manually add any influencers to the Campaign before the import.
Step 2: Prepare your data file
Make a copy of the CSV Transfer Template.
Rename the file using the name of the Campaign.
You need to create a separate file for each Campaign.
Fill in the template with the required data.
📌 Required information:
Media URL – The influencer’s profile link
Unique discount codes
Influencer email address (Optional but recommended for bulk emailing without manual entry)
Note: If an influencer has not publicly shared their email, the imported email will remain private within your team.
📌 File requirements:
One discount code per influencer
Each file should contain only one type of discount (e.g., a $10 off and a 15% off discount cannot be in the same file)
Do NOT modify or add new headers in the file — the existing headers, like
"media_url"
, must remain unchanged for a smooth import.
Step 3: Submit your file for review
Share the spreadsheet and provide the URL of the new campaign to our support team.
Our team will check the formulas and assist you in fixing any errors.
If everything looks good, we’ll create a ticket for our tech team to manually update the codes.
📌 Processing time: 3-5 business days
⚠️ Things to check before submitting your file:
Ensure media URL links are up to date – incorrect links may cause import failures.
Double-check that all codes are available in your shop.
Each influencer should have only one entry per campaign.
