Before We Get Started:

  • You must have a Creator or Business account to share your stories with brands. We cannot access your stories and insights if you don't have this type of account.

  • If you are posting multiple stories for a specific campaign, please repeat the same process for all frames (individual stories). We cannot access stories that do not mention the brand you are working with or with a specific hashtag.

  • We only support regular mentions or hashtags, please, do not use stickers to tag brands or add hashtags.

How to tag brands on Instagram Stories?

First, please select the content you want to post in your story. Then, to add the brand @mention or a particular #hashtag, use the "Aa" text tool to add these.

Once added, it should look like this. The text tool is the only tool supported by Instagram that allows us to track the performance of your stories.

When you're done, click "Send to" to publish your Stories. Please make sure your stories are public.

Do not use Stickers to tag @brands or add #hashtags.

If you use stickers to tag a @brand or add a #hashtag, Upfluence will not be able to get stories published and the brand you are collaborating with will not be able to get the performance data of your stories and their content.

NOTE: Please DO NOT use stickers when collaborating with brands through Upfluence.
