How to track stories insights

Find out all you need to know to collect influencers' stories: how to invite influencer, setup your stream.

Updated over a week ago

You can easily set up a stream and track past performances in a few steps, however, to collect stories, you have a few extra steps you need to do to successfully track story insights.

NOTE: Since Oct 2022, Upfluence does not provide account verification and access sharing for Instagram and Instagram stories.

That means that, from that day, creators can no longer be invited to share their stories access to you, and as we don't have access to the Instagram stories anymore, we are not tracking them through the stream app anymore.

However, Instagram stories for which, creators have shared their access to Upfluence, before Oct 2022, are still retroactively available because tracked at this time, this means that you can still create a stream with older posts than Oct 2022 for whom stories can still be trackable.

Invite influencers to share stories

Before setting up your stream, you have to make sure the creators have been asked to share their Instagram stories and insights. This can be done:

- When creating a Workflow campaign, enable the "Stories" requirement toggle.

- Add the {{stories_invitation_link}} merge field when sending emails to influencers

For more information, check how to automatically ask for those during your campaign creation.
